Ease Into Reading is a Dilly Bag of Dilly Bags.

It is not a sequenced resource.

It contains sets of cards that deal with specific confusions.

For example, when working with a student it becomes evident that the student confuses the sounds of the letters b & p, reading ‘big’ for ‘pig’ or ‘cap’ for ‘cab’. There is a set of cards in the ‘Dilly Bag’ and a given procedure to isolate and deal with the problem.

For your convenience the sidebar contains links to specific confusions. By pressing the link you will find the set of cards you need, together with a link to the procedure you need, which will launch on a separate window.

The procedures & rationals can also be accessed from the menu should you wish to run your eye over them and read about the rational behind them.

You will also need to read the TIPS prior to using the Letter & Word Reversal Cards.

The PROCEDURE in each case carries the major benefits by connecting the neural pathways involved in Reading & Spelling.

Those teachers who use The Harrison Test (http://www.theharrisontest.com) (FREE on-line diagnostic testing) will find that the sub-skill deficits diagnosed by the test are specifically addressed by this KIT.

Other resources written by the same author are available from
